Translated from the original Swedish ‘En Färd genom Asien, 1893-97’ of 1898.
Sven Anders Hedin,(1865 – 1952) was a Swedish geographer and explorer who undertook several expeditions to the unexplored regions of Central Asia. The illustrations are from the author’s photographs and sketches. A very nice set of the first edition in the publisher’s gilt decorated green cloth.
